In finalizing parts; Is there a way to list the part name to the left of the title of the piece and at the top of subsequent pages without extracting the parts and manually typing the part names individually on each part?

I'm just finishing a score that was begun in Finale 2006 and almost finished in Finale 2014.5.

Thank you!

There's an insert in the text menu that will insert the part name.

Make sure the box next to part names is checked in staff attributes for each part. Also, doing the insert as suggested above with the word "score" on the score page should give you the instrument name in each part when printed.

I don't think that is what is wanted. Generally, in a part, the name to the left of the staff is not needed or wanted. The OP wanted the name to the left of the title, in the upper left corner of the first page. That is an entirely different thing. That requires using the text insert for score/part name.

RichHeartMusic, if that doesn't make sense, open up Finale's default document, which has part names on the first page and running across the top on subsequent pages (insert a page break or add some measures to get a second page). You can emulate those in your document.
