Hello everybody,

I am running Finale v. 25, on both windows and mac.
I am attempting to create an exercise for my band which has several lines. Each staff has 5 measures on it, which is a chromatic exercise that I use for range building. The exercise has 26 lines in all. I would like to be able to label each staff line 1-26 in order to make it clear and easy to work with during rehearsal. How do I go about doing this? Thanks!

Use auto-sequencing numbers in an expression--either put it in the Rehearsal Marks category or duplicate that category. Adjust the positioning to be how you want. Assign the first one, then copy it to the rest. Or assign it to a metatool.

Pretty simple and stuff we do it all the time. You can set-up and make a template so you only have to do it once. Then edit them however you like.
Use the Rehearsal Marks and Edit Measure Number Regions.

Better yet, use the JW Measure Numbers plugin to set up the numbering. However, if each exercise is 5 bars, measure numbers might not be needed at all.
