Hi all,

Today, I remembered I had a font which I liked on a 2006 Mac. I went hunting for it today and found it on that old computer. It had no extension on the file name, but Get Info said its file type was a Font Suitcase. Anyway, I just chucked it into my new Mac Font folder and I am pleasantly surprised to have it working perfectly in Finale 25.

Yours,
A pleasantly surprised Hector Pascal, with cigar :)

That's entirely due to the OS, not to any robustness of Finale. MacOS continues to support all the fonts it's ever done. Finale then just takes what the OS gives it.

Interesting! I might boot up the old mac again and bring some more fonts back to the future :) Some of the old fonts are very useful.

Cheers,
HP.
