I'm really glad to see all the old regulars back here at the new forum.
I know it was "if-fy" that all originally wanted to remain on the new site.
I'm just getting used to the new layout, and I'm not good at searching yet.
So perhaps this question has been answered.

My tool palette is still a prob. I'm close to upgrading. And I can get the Latin Percussion plugin to work, but the Drum Groove does nothing, no matter how I try.
Do I need F25 for this to work?

I have the Drum Groove plugin in 2014.5. Finale 25 doesn't have it.

The plugin relies on MIDI files to create the Drum Groove. I guess that it doesn't work for you because the MIDI files are missing or installed in the wrong place.

Yes, fixed in 25 only.

Check the official forum on that one. There is an issue with 25 that hasn't been resolved but there's supposed to be a workaround.

Since 2014.5 is still supported, I would ask MM directly using the Submit a request link at the top of that page.

I am curious about this workaround. I see that the plugins they mention are in the folder but not showing in the plugins when in Finale.

In the past, I had an issue like this with one of Jari's plugins. He immediately fixed it and posted the updated file. I wonder what could be up that MakeMusic doesn't do the same. Why the "secret" workaround?

I'm waiting for their response.

Wish I knew. Lawson says to 'contact support' but no one has posted the workaround.

At the moment, I don't need it for anything I'm doing so I've not done so.

Quite odd. No workaround. It's just that those 2 files were probably defective. Basically, they sent me a zip file with the fixed files. I copied them to the folder and now they show up.

I wonder why there isn't a KB article with the zip file available there. That's the way it was done in the past. Or available in downloads.
