Hi,

I have this really weird bug that's cropped up, and I might be missing something fundamental but for the life of me I can't think what it is... I'm writing a piece for concert band and the trombone line, whenever I type a B or C or whatever it enters the note a diatonic third higher, e.g. B will enter a D, C will enter an E, etc. No other part seems affected by it, and I've never had this happen before. Is this a bug or have I got some weird option selected that I've missed?

Thanks!

PS if it's user error, please be kind, I'm a total technophobe :)

Okay even weirder... it's just one bar that is affected. One bar of one instrument. I'm guessing this is a bug.

Without seeing the file, we can only guess, but I might look to see if somehow, you inadvertently changed to a different - and transposing - instrument for that one measure.

If it's just the one measure, select it, and from the context menu, Clear All Items. Re-enter the notes, and see if they are right. If they are still wrong, Insert a new measure stack, and see if the notes enter correctly, there. If they do, just copy the rest of the stack over, and delete the old one.

If still no joy, post the file so we can have a look!
