hi all,
I have a case of re-appearing hairpins.
What I did: I extracted a part. Then I deleted the last 50 bars of the part and then pasted a new set of 50 bars at the end. Interestingly, some (or all?) of the original hairpins which I thought I'd deleted along with the original deletion of bars, reappear amidst the newly pasted 50 bars.
Discuss....
Cheers,
HP.

Rather than copy and paste, try copy and insert. Anotherwords, copy the source measures. Click on the first measure you want to delete and type Command/I (insert). The copied measures will appear in front of the measure where you clicked - you can then delete the measures you don't want.
I don't know what happened, but it sounds like this is a variation of the "ghost expression" problem that has been around since about Finale 2009. From what I've read, it's a Macintosh only problem.
