I'm a long time follower of the old forum and migrated here.
I have a question about High Sierra. I use a "late" 2012 Mac Mini on Sierra that my son souped up with more ram. I'm very happy with Finale 25.
My son said to wait to install High Sierra. I've waited and now I would like to know if I should go ahead and upgrade to High Sierra. I sell my compositions, so it's very important to keep my work flow the same because I have a lot of music in my pipeline.
Is there any reader here using a late 2012 i7 Mac mini with High Sierra and Finale 25.4 Is everything compatible?
Thanks, guys! You've helped me a lot over the years.

I'd suggest you have a Time Machine backup or a clone of your current hard drive on an external drive. Go ahead and update to High Sierra. You can restore your current setup from the backup if anything is amiss.
My Sierra setup works flawlessly so I'll be leaving it be for a good long time.

Keep in mind, also, if you are using a piano keyboard connected to your computer via midi interface / usb connection, be sure to check if it will be compatible with High Sierra. For example, I have a Roland UM 1 Mark 2 midi interface and Roland says it is currently "under testing" with High Sierra ...........
Cheers,
Hector.

Do the diligence on drivers for any peripherals and 3rd party applications.

Did you restart the computer after installing Finale 25?

What build?
25.4.1.163 doesn’t install correctly but works if the OS is updated to 10.13.
24.4.1.164 does install correctly in High Sierra. I notice no difference between the two.
Is the icon in the Dock pointing to the right build? If you keep clicking on it and nothing happens, trash it and create a new one by dragging Finale from the Applications folder to the Dock to create anew shortcut.
