I have a tabloid sized score in Finale and what it reduced/scaled down to a letter size score. How can I do this smoothly?

Anybody know after changing the page size, how much percentage should it be reduced so that the score looks exactly like the Tabloid score excepted scaled down?

If by tabloid you mean 11 x 17, that has a very different aspect ratio from 8-1/2 x 11, so I don't know that it's possible with just resizing.

I have a tabloid score and set the page size to letter size (Page Layout Tool). Then, used the Resize Tool to resize the pages to about 60%. It looked OK but the staves and notation were teeny tiny. This was a score for large orchestra - if your score has fewer staves, such a resizing might work out OK. Just use the Staff Tool to respace the staves (if that can be done) and the Resize Tool to resize the pages.

Since the aspect ratios of the two pages sizes are quite different, it's not possible unless you leave a lot of white space on the side. The scale factor is 11 / 17 (about 65%).

If you're willing to redo where the systems break, then that's another matter.
