In Finale 2014.5 for Mac, I am creating a file to be used in a worship bulletin -- essentially it's a four-part chorale-style hymn, with six verses of text. Is there a way to automatically insert verse numbers for EVERY stave of a hymn? (For example, I know how to automatically include verse numbers at the BEGINNING of each verse, but is there a way to repeat verse numbers on successive staves? Some hymnals do this as a courtesy on each stave, and it makes it easier on the eyes for hymns with LOTS of text.) Your help, please....

Welcome to the forum!

I suppose that you by your words “every stave” mean “every system”, right?

I do not know of a way to get the verse numbers automatically.
I think that you will have to, manually force them to show on each system.

Try this:

Lyrics Tool.
Lyrics menu > Adjust Syllables
A handle appears on each syllable.
Context-click on the handle of the first syllable in a system.
In the context menu, choose “Include Lyric Number”.
