Hi,
I'm trying to add a bracket above the notes using the Smart Shape Tool pallet - but I'm not having much luck figuring this out on my own. I haven't found a document that explains how to add the bracket. When I try to add the bracket nothing happens at all. The attached screen capture shows what I want to add.
I'm using Finale version 25.5.0.259 on a Mac.
Thanks,
David

Select that particular line with bracket in the palette (Smart Shapes). Double click and drag in the score.

For this situation, it's best to create a new Smart Shape that incorporates the Roman Numeral and the line. That way they always align properly. What Tool are you using for the Roman Numeral?
