Here's an odd thing. In the tuplets below, the 6 on the downbeat of each bar is placed differently from the others. I've left the brackets, and as you can see, the discrepancy is because these downbeats are for some reason "wider" than the others. Tuplet parameters and edit frame data are the same for all notes, and it happens with both Simple and Speedy entry (I was unable to do it with the separate tuplet tool).

I get the same result.

It certainly looks like you have found a bug.

Thanks for confirming it. I also discovered another bug: if you try to copy a partial measure of such tuplets, they get converted back to ordinary quarter notes (but with the slashes still attached, since they're just "articulations"). Somehow it's "retranscribing" things (if that is the proper term) and simplifying the tuplet. This happens to the entire measure of the source as well as the target. Any idea how to prevent that?

The second bug is a known and longstanding bug. Whole measures copy/paste properly, I believe.

As far as the first one, I cant' remember coming across this one, but it is definitely not proper behavior. Have you reported it?

There is a workaround to get the other beats to look like the first. Use Utilities/Change/Tuplets. Change the Horizontal Position and Right Extension to the same value, and then the Left Extension to the negative of that. I tried .052 inches and got a pretty close look.

Thank you, Zuill. Is there no work-around for problem number 2? I've found that even deleting something in the same measure causes this.
