Is there a way to add a reverse tie to a note? Normally you press t and it draws a tie to the right of the note.
I'm wondering if there is a way to make the tie draw to the left instead of the right.
I have two instances where I need this:
1) the first note of the tie is hidden (Finale hides the tie to the second note)
2) the first note of the tie is in one layer, and the second note is in another layer on the next system. In this case, the tie which goes to the left doesn't show up.

For instance 1) do not hide the note.
Instead, hide the notehead, and replace the stem with an empty shape.

For instance 2) use the Speedy Entry Tool feature {Voice 1 / Voice 2} instead of layers.
Ties work between V1 and V2 in the same layer.

You can drag an existing tie around backwards with the Tie tool.
