noteheads stay same size when zooming

I have Finale 2014.5 running on a Mac Pro OSX 10.8.5

I have had this issue for some time now: When I zoom in on a score (to make it larger) the noteheads sometimes remain the same size. Everything else enlarges...staves, beams, text, etc. I can quit Finale, re-open it, and all is well...for an hour or so. Then the problem returns. I do save every few minutes, so this has not been a major issue, but it is rather annoying.

Any ideas?

I would take a look at the Preferences. Here's a way to test your current set:

I seem to recall having the same problem with 2014.5, and the same (non-) solution. Since upgrading to 25, it hasn’t recurred.

But I was on a more current Mac OS, as well.

Thanks! I will check that prefs thing.

And Yes, I have a sneaking suspicion that my old OS my be playing a part in this.
