Speedy only enters one note

For the last few days speedy entry will only enter the same note, no matter which key on the keyboard is pressed. I can change the note with the arrow keys, but that's slower than simple entry. This has got to be a simple solution, but I can't find it. I've already tried deleting the .INI files.

1) Computer keyboard or MIDI keyboard?

2) Take a look in the Speedy menu.
* Is the option “Use MIDI Device for Input” selected or de-selected?
This is actually the same idea/thought as 1).

Sorry. The MIDI keyboard, and though this sounds wrong, the midi keyboard only works if "Use MIDI device" is de-selected.

The only way to use a MIDI Keyboard is to select the option. Somehow you might have a misunderstanding about how Finale works. Or, maybe we don't have all the information we need about the problem you are having.

I figured it out. It was a problem with the MIDI keyboard and the port on the computer not getting along. It's working now. Thanks for your help.
