When using beam over barlines, the second chord doesn't play back. I confirmed this, both with and without HP on, in 25 and 2014.5. Since I have never had occasion to use the plugin, I don't know if this is the normal behavior.

The plugin mutes the hidden and the visible notes involved in the overlap. I'm not sure why it was designed to do that. Just use Jari's JW Change plugin to unmute the notes. I would probably just unmute the notes in the second bar of the two.

I looked at the topic on that "other" forum. As far as the hidden notes, just uncheck to show hidden notes and rests. As far as playback, in the attached file, I have shown the before and after versions of using the plugin. In the after, I applied Jari's JW Change to unmute the note. There are other ways to do it, but this is probably the easiest. The other more powerful tool I use is the Speedy Edit Frame, which might be daunting to some.

Did you examine my file? Maybe I could examine your file to see why the plugin didn't work.

Interesting. I had to select the mute, and then playback, but eventually, it took.
