Windows 7 Finale 2014.5

I know I've asked this before but can't find it... The 16th stem beam on my dotted triplets is facing right, not left, and I can't find anything in Document Options to change it.

Special Tools/Broken Beam Tool. You'll have to do each one manually.

You're kidding.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. Past 1800, who beams things this way?

There's another way to do multiple beam stubs at once using Jari's JW Change plugin. There's no document option for this globally (at least not that I know of).

Ed asked the same question on Facebook. It is simply a bug.

As I posted there, I also notice that if you try to enter such a triplet in Simple entry by entering a dotted eighth note and then pressing 9 or Alt-9, Finale fills it out with an eighth rest followed by a sixteenth rest, a rhythm I don't think I've ever seen. You need to delete the rests before filling out the triplet. If you start with a plain undotted eighth note, it adds two eighth rests, of course, which also must be deleted before you dot the first note and then finish the triplet. So hooray for Speedy entry.

N, where do I install the plugin? I can't find a plugin or suitable folder in my C drive.
