I'm running Finale 2014 (25.05) on an iMac with OSX Sierra.
This is just kind of a preference editing thing but I'm used to using Logic and other programs where all the windows and stuff are usually along the top. I was wondering if there was any way to move the manuscript pages from along the top of the environment window to the bottom so I can move the tool windows along the top out of the way and more in my top field of vision. I've attached a ridiculously small screenshot and essentially what I want to do is flip flop the pages and the tool windows. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

Finale 2014 has compatibility issues with Sierra.
Since you have OS X Sierra, I recommend that you use Finale 25, rather than 2014.

You can reposition the document window and the palettes, and Save Preferences (File menu).

You can also resize a palette so that the palette is e. g. wide, and only two icons tall, and Save Preferences.
To resize a palette, drag the lower right corner.

The positioning of Finale’s dialog boxes is a different matter.
By default the dialog boxes are positioned in the center of the screen.
I do not know of a way to change that default positioning of dialog boxes.

thanks for your reply!

I was thinking more along the lines of repositioning the staff manuscript pages. when I have the document window in full screen, the staff pages are all aligned along the top, and I would rather they be lower so I can reposition the palettes above them.

You can not do that in Full Screen.

Full Screen is Full Screen (= the document window fills the screen, top to bottom).

Instead I suggest that you
- exit Full Screen,
- position the palettes just below the Menu Bar,
- position the document window just below the palettes,
- Save Preferences.
