I am looking for ideas on how to fix the gap at the base of the stem when using diamond shaped notehead (see attached image).
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Document Options > Stems > Click the Stem Connections button.
Click Create - Click the Select button and find the diamond notehead. You can drag the stems in the window to the proper location to close the gap. Click OK to finish.
