Trying to arrange some music for a group playing only on G bugles(soprano, mellophone, baritone, contra). I am finding difficulty in getting started in setup wizard. Drum corps template is of no help as things have changed over the years in this category. Any help getting a set-up for a score would be helpful. :D

G's are down a minor 3rd. Play a middle C on the G its an A on a Bb.

If the bugles are all in G I'm not sure Bb instruments are germane to this question. If you don't care about playback, just pretend they're all non-transposing. If you do want playback, pick the nearest instrument from the menu (trumpet, baritone horn, tuba, or whatever) and then alter the transposition in the score manager.

If it sounds down a major 4th, you can use the (G) transposition on the menu. If the bass instruments are written in treble clef, then the transposition probably sounds down a major 4th plus an octave, in which case pick Other and set Interval=10, Key Alter=-1.
