I upgraded to 25 based on recommendations from folks here and frankly, it's pretty much the same with the same bugs as 2014.5.
I'm increasingly disappointed in the level of support and service (they elected not to fix the bug that took me over 5 years to get them to try) and I'm awaiting a refresh of the GUI to put it on par with the usability of other modern software.
So, is there ever going to be a refresh of the GUI???

The only comfort is in knowing they all have bugs just different bugs. Too bad somebody doesn't make Raid for software.

the point is that a claim was made that 25 fixed bugs and being a re-factor would allow for quicker releases with new features, yada-yada. Yet, i'm unable to see much if anything that's improved. Certainly, nothing I use has been improved. On the proper forum for adressing shortcomings of Finale, the Finale Feature Requests at MM, at least one of MM's representatives, Michael Johnson, is quite active, ever so often responding kindly and encourageingly to whatever need we users may have.
So, my interpretation of the fact that long overdue bugs are not fixed, and that this and that isn't improved yet, is that MM has financial issues. Maybe more people should buy Finale. How to make them?

I am not trying to justify MM. I am simply conceding that the other major music software has bugs too. They seem to hang around for long time periods.Usability is still terrible and the same bugs I hated in 2014.5 still exist.
