While Viewing one of my parts (as opposed to the full score) I deleted the entire score, saved, and quit without realizing it.

It's totally not a big deal, I can re-copy and paste in from a previous version, however It now won't let me create any measures on this now completely blank score. I even tried to create a new staff. Can you help?

Do you have autosave on? Also, there should be a backup file. Maybe Mac is different than Win.

If you use Time Machine (with an external drive), it saves the contents of the mac every hour. If you don't, consider it and in the meantime, look for backups (if the option has been activated in the Preferences) like Zuill suggested. For the future, consider an automatic backup solution on a remote server, with version history (such as Dropbox).
About the fact that you can't create new measures, new staves, we should see the file

Your first sentence is difficult to understand : if you view a part, you can't delete the score from there (unless you opened the score in another window ?).
And if you delete the score, you can see that your part is affected as well.

I was viewing the electric guitar part and deleted all of the measures (it now looks like a completely blank page except for the title, etc.)

When I went back to my full score later I found there was no music. Every part has no staves and I can't create them, even from the score manager.

It's not about restoring from a backup, which I can do if necessary. I'm just confused as to why it doesn't let me create new staves or at least see SOMETHING so I can copy paste onto my previous template.

I suggest that you attach your Finale document here, for the gurus to examine.

Just as a WAG, is it possible that you have invoked View Active Layer Only, and have Layer 2 as the active one?

I've done it...
