I tried to record in hyperscribe and it only played back two measures. Couldn't figure out how to record continuously, and when I looked at some of the pages in the manual, it looked overly complicated. All I want to do is record several minutes of keyboard playing without a click track and without quantization and then play it back. What is the best page to read in the user manual to learn how to do this? Thanks. Mac OS 10.6

There is a whole chapter in the help manual on Hyperscribble. Also, check the Tutorial contents.

Why don't you input a microphone and record live with something like Audacity? You probably want the notation as well, but Hyperscribe will give you nothing resembling your desired notation.

Just my 2¢.

I don't want notation from a live recording. I do that separately.

You have to have an understanding of the Help files and then... good luck.

So what about the live microphone/Audacity way?
