Dear people,
What is the right way to align standing voices (tenor 1, tenor 2 and base)? The way Finale aligns them?
Or should I align base with tenors and move bariton on the right side of base
Best regards,
Igor

I prefer to have them centered. You can change the setting in Document Options > Lyrics

Thank you very much miker!
I didn't even think about this issue
But it seems I wasn't clear. I wanted to ask about the position of notes for the base and bariton on the note a (where the syllable "zme" is).
I believe in Finale there is a lot of knowledge of notation. So someone could just blindly believe Finale and take it as a final arbiter. But in the case I posted the first image shows how the flag of the eighth note simply overwrites the head of the half note.
So I swapped the positions of the two notes in the second image. Now I am asking what is the actual notation rule for such case?
Still, the best forum on the world!
Best regards,
Igor
