I sometimes get this on the last page when I create a new part. (After all music has been entered, I go to Manage Parts and create a new part.) I can fix it by then doing Redefine Pages, but curious if others have seen this.

Come to think of it, I sometimes see the opposite, also: the final systems will be spread out, with more distance between systems than the part format definition specifies.

Go to Document Menu > Manage Parts > Part Creation Preferences and uncheck "Space Systems Evenly". It's been a while, but I seem to remember this cures the squished effect.
