Easy tremolo bug?

Yes, the Easy Tremolo is a godsend, but does it have a bug in it?
I have the same tremolo, exactly the same, say, 5 measures in a row. So I create the tremolo successfully and think, naively, that all I need to do is copy that measure and paste it in the following 4 measures. Unfortunately, every single time, it adds a bunch of flagged rests after the tremolo itself, and I have to delete those by hand. I think, again naively, that now that I have deleted those rests, I can safely copy and paste it into the following measures. Nope. Those rests keep getting added in. It defeats one of the best aspects of copying music on a computer: the ability to paste something and have it replicate exactly.
Is there some way to keep this from happening, or do I just need to reconcile myself to deleting all of those 16th and 32nd note rests that get added for no discernible reason?
Thanks,
Mark

The plugin does what it does by creating fancy tuplets. Sometimes Finale has issues with copy/paste with tuplets. Could you post a sample file with the measure in question so we can investigate the behavior and see if we have any insights?

I'd like to. But can you tell me an easy way to do that? The score is a 40+ page orchestra piece, so it's not going to be accepted for posting here, and I don't know how to extract something from the middle of the piece where this is happening.

Here's an excerpt. Measures 2-4, vn. 2 & va, should be exactly the same as measures 37-39. You can see in the attachment, that they came out really different when I copied 2-4 into 37-39
Thanks,

How did you create the original tremolo measures? If I click on one of them with the Speedy Entry tool and then exit the measure, Speedy seems to think the original measure is missing rests.
I created the same dotted-half tremolo in one of the other staves by inserting a quarter rest followed by a dotted-quarter lower note and a dotted-quarter upper note and applied the Easy Tremolos function and it works as expected.

That is exactly how I did it, too.bkshepard wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 6:17 pmHow did you create the original tremolo measures? If I click on one of them with the Speedy Entry tool and then exit the measure, Speedy seems to think the original measure is missing rests.

Were you able to copy that measure to another measure and have it come out the same?

Yes, it copied perfectly. My tremolos were also wider like the one motet showed in his image.mark carlson wrote: ↑Sat Aug 14, 2021 6:35 pmWere you able to copy that measure to another measure and have it come out the same?

You're right. Instead of re-entering from scratch, I just changed the values of what was already there, as copied back in 1997--I suspect that was way before the easy tremolo plug-in existed!
Thanks!
