I've noticed that whenever I copy a phrase into either a trombone part or a euphonium part Finale drops the copied part one octave. The score manager settings in both trombone and euphonium are set for no transposition, I can't think of where I might find a place where I can 'neutralize' this.
Any help to point me in the right direction is greatly appreciated.
Why do trombone and euphonium parts transpose?

Just a wild guess:
Take a look in
Preferences - Edit
Is the option
Respect Instrument Ranges when Copying or Changing Instruments
selected or de-selected?

What happens if you were to paste it to the tuba part or horn part? Same thing?
