You need to reassign playback sounds and it works as it should.

Thank you, ebiggs1,
but when I playback your file the program says that my version of Aria is oldel than yours and that it cannot playback.
Anyway I'm going to open a new file an copy and paste the notes.
...
It worked. Thank you very much.
Then the route is:
1)Open a new document/Aria player oboe+vln+vla+cello
2)Copy from the old document
3)Paste

You should be able to just change Soprano Voice to Oboe in the Score Manager in your original file. Double-click on Oboe.

No need to do anything besides reasign playback sounds. You don’t need to copy and paste anything.

There is no right or wrong. In Finale there is always two or more ways to accomplish the same outcome. Its not a competition.

Jose,
Have you considered upgrading your Finale version to 27.4.1? You will get the latest Aria player and the latest improved version of Finale. Since 25 there have been some good fixes.

The advantage to just changing the instrument is that, not only will it fix the staff label, too, but it will pick a playback sound that is guaranteed to work. If you instead explore the lists of playback sounds as you suggested, there's a confusing plethora of choices, some of which may not be appropriate. It looks his score was using SoftSynth, and whatever he picked wanted to use the Aria player, so maybe it was a Garritan instrument. I was just trying to give him the simple solution, not compete with you.

Yes, motet,
originally I use the Garritan sounds in the files.
Then I send the files to a person who correct them in a Fínale printmusic 2014 and uses SoftSynth sounds
He then sends me back the files and I convert them in Garritan sounds again

Mac users get ARIA version 2.039, while Windows users get 1.959 (or possibly 1.961). This makes it impossible to share custom setups from Mac to Windows, because ARIA won't load the save-state from a newer version.
