Hit Escape key twice to deselect all simple tool palette selections at once.

I had gotten annoyed at the number of times I thought I had deselected the sharp or flat, for example. Then I went and entered a note for find I hadn't deselected the sharp for the previous note. I was sitting around and it hit me. "Does the ESC key maybe do all the deselections for me at once?" Just experimenting, I found out that it does.

Wow, I guess the Finale designers knew what they were doing. I'm Constantly amazed at the Human Factors considerations the Finale design has.

You can also double tap the duration key (2-8) to dismiss the flat, sharp, or dot.

Did I misinterpret what I saw? Now it's not deselecting the sharp, triplet, or dot like I said it was doing. Embarrassing. Hitting the 8 duration key is doing it for me.
thanks
