How do I add reverb to the attached? I don't see VST Banks on my MIDI/audio
or Garritan FX, but I did manage to get reverb recently - I don't remember how
though. See attached file.

I tried that, to no effect. See my settings below:

Odd. It worked for me when I opened your file. Maybe someone else can help.

I'm assuming that the only two adjustments are the blue-ish reverb level dial and the volume slider - yes?

I don't like reverb and sometimes have to turn it OFF. It's a checkbox somewhere, "Garritan ambience" or somesuch, but I couldn't find it.

I would suggest, and I do it myself, you d/l Audacity. It is a free open source app and has way more controls over your sound files. Plus it makes mp3 export file.

Thanks, I tried d/l from https://audacity.en.softonic.com/mac/download and found it so confusing. Several prompts - "relaunch", "download in progress," "download" appearing several times. Not sure about this. I'm sure the app would help me though.

I use AU Matrix Reverb.
Under Midi Audio/Audio Units Banks and Effects
choose AU Matrix Reverb.
Click on the Pencil to edit.
I move the Wet/Dry Slider to Dry, and choose Room Size.
It sounds good to use Panning too, in the Mixer.
