The first note of the measure was originally written as Db.
When I try to change it to C# I get 2 notes.

I appreciate your help

All you have to do is to make the first note in the upper staff a pause and hide it (because you don't need a quarter note with a dot here), and in the second staff, in the bass clef, to make the necessary alteration.

Thank you, RimasG,
but I cannot arrive.
I suspect it's has something to do with MOVER TOOL.
Could you send me, please, the file as you solved?
I tried and what I get is now I note in the lower staff, D, that I cannot delete

I send my original file.
I'd like to change Db note into a C note on the staff 1
To write Db I used the mover tool.
Then I changed layers. Definitely a mess

What's the time signature? You seem to have 3/4 and 4/4 in the top staff, and 3/4 in the bottom.

Count it up. You have 3 beats in layer two, in both staves. but if you count the layer one notes you come up with 4 beats. Cross-staffing them doesn't change anything, it's still 4 beats.
