I am getting unrelated tooltips in the Finale score window (only score, not in parts). Seem to be leftovers of Finder windows. but I don't have any Finder window open anywhere. see screenshot
Mac Sonoma latest, Finale latest, M1 mac mini

That’s an issue with Macs only, I believe. It’s been around since F26, if I recall correctly.

No known fix, I’m afraid.

it must be a combination of Finale + OS, because same version of Finale (27) on my 2012 Mac Pro on Mojave doesn't do it.
Anyway, always glad to find out I'm not the only one :-)

I never saw this before Sonoma - which I wish I never 'upgraded' to.
Finale 27.4.1 (since 2.6.3)
