I'm writing a choral score and need to put in notes with no pitch. I'm using SATB staves, no percussion. Is there a way to enter an un-pitched note in a choral score?

If playback is your concern, you can use JW Change to turn off playback on a note-by-note basis.

If you're asking about no pitch on playback, then go with Motet's suggestion. If you are asking about a symbol for no pitch you can use Special Tools > Note Shape Tool > and pick a notehead shape, an X or whatever, or Utilities > Change > Noteheads.

Thanks for the suggestion Motet! I'll keep it in mind for the future. Bill's answer was the one I needed.
