I cannot Apply Staff Styles - when I click on that function, nothing happens (no window pops up) and obviously nothing changes in the selected staff. I have checked in the previous versions - in Finale 2006c it is working, but in Finale 2007c and in Finale 2008 it does not... Any suggestion will be much appreciated.
I am on MacPro Quad 2.66 Mac OS X 10.4.10

Strange, it works for me, in 2008 and 2007. Did you make a selection before you go to the Apply staff styles menu item ?
What seems broken in 2008 though, is that the clear key (numeric keypad) does not cancel a staff style anymore, do you have the same experience ?

Yes, I first select. No, the clear doesn't clear staff styles anymore.
This is becoming scary - I just discovered same problem with Edit Lyrics: no window pops up. So I can't write or edit lyrics... Same thing: working in Finale 2006c, but not in Finale 2007c and Finale 2008.
