Any idea how to get Finale to display a degree sign instead of "dim" for a chord suffix. I'm using the Swingfont, and don't want to get my midi keyboard to do this. Finale 2007. Thanks.

You can edit the chord symbol's display in the Chord Suffix Editor.
I don't know the Swing font, but in the Maestro font the "degree sign" is character #111.

In the chord suffix library I have created, I have simply used letter o, which is almost circular in several fonts (Helvetica). Other symbols I'm also using, such as the triangle (for Maj 7) or ø (for m7b5), are all available in several fonts.

Funny - it was already assigned to "o". I just didn't think to try typing that. Thanks.
