How I can change the name of the isntrument on different pages of a score? Ex. I have an english horn playing as well the 3rd oboe part so I want him to play the oboe on the page 5-7. I'd like to change the name of the staff for those pages without changing it on the other pages. How can I do that?
Cheers,

Create a staff style, with a specific staff name.
Then select the region of the staff and apply it.
Then select the region of the staff and apply it.

To the best of my knowledge, group names are not an option in the parameters of the staff styles. Logical, staff styles are supposed to apply to ... staves.kruker wrote:Thanks for reply. However, I have one more question. How I can change the group (groups and brackets) name on different pages of the score?
Workaround :
1) don't display a group name
2) for one of the staves only, display its name and reposition it.
3) create a staff style with another name for that same staff, and if needed, reposition it. Apply to the region.

It's possible, but it requires some work, since you can't do it with a staff style.kruker wrote:...I have one more question. How I can change the group (groups and brackets) name on different pages of the score?
You have to do it system by system:
Page Layout Tool.
Optimize the system(s).
Or toggle "Allow Individual Staff Spacing" on.
When you switch to the Staff Tool, you can edit Group Attributes on a "System by System" basis in the systems that are optimized (= the systems that have "Allow Individual Staff Spacing" toggled on).
