Is this a new feature in Finale 2009b, locking symbols (like Amin7) against individual adjustment, such that you can only move them vertically and then only as a whole line, not one-by-one, and not at all horizontally? 1/2 hour of reading the manual revealed nothing to me about this. I must not have found the right page!
Thanks.

As far as I know, nothing has changed in version 2009. In the chord menu, select "Manual input" : a handle appears on each chord. Select one or more (draw a rectangle around them) and move them, either with the mouse, or with the up/down arrow.

Thank you Michel. It's been more than a year since I entered chords on a score, and maybe prior to that I had used Manual input without realizing that the adjustment tool is associated. Anyway, I'm up and running with an appreciative nod to you.
