Soundfont Troubles

I'm using PrintMusic 2011. I downloaded a soundfont and tried using it, but every instrument sounds the same. I checked the samples in SynthFont2, and they sound nothing like the garbage that's being played. I've tried changing the instruments but to no avail... What am I doing wrong? No matter what I do, I just can't get the soundfont to work...

am trying to export an individual part, from a orchestral score that has already been extracted, as an 'audio file (.wav). When I import it into a DAW application there is no data. The DAW app is SONAR X3 and has no problem importing the same file when I export it as a midi file. What am I doing incorrectly during the export process? I also am experiencing that, after clicking export and saving the file to a specific location as a .wav audio file, Finale closes down and then ask if I want to restore the unsaved file or it goes directly into playback of the file. Please help as I have no idea what could be causing this.
