Stop/start playback using midi assigned key?

I would like to be able to play/pause playback using something other than grabbing my mouse, moving it over to the stop button, and clicking it. Is there a midi controller assignable short cut? Like a "Listen" key or button that would toggle playback play/pause or play/stop?

TGT tools (menu shortcuts plug-in) can show the playback controls, but I can't assign a shortcut key to control any of the playback buttons.

the pause key (in the playback controls) will stop playback but doesn't resume at the same point it was paused at <= a bug or am I not using it properly?

My answer came from using the "makemusic.com" forum, which is as follows:

To use the spacebar to start playback.
From the menubar, Plug-ins, TG Tools, Menu Shortcuts. In the TG Options popup, Add, Listen, press the Spacebar. Select menu command: MIDI/Audio, Start playback.

I use <alt> <Spacebar> to stop playback.

Hope this helps.
