Sustained Pedal on Piano NOT wanted

I imported recently some measures from a MIDI file.
Now I hear everything I've got on Piano (Instruments for Finale) with a Sustained Piano that I never put.
I did this thinking solving my problem:
Midi Tool Menu/Edit continuous Data/View continuous Data/
Ther I see: 64 Sustain Pedal
I change it to : 0 Bank Select
And finally I press OK
But when I reopen the file it again is with that undesired Sustained Pedal.
Is there a way to delete it?
