Hi all,
Ever since upgrading to Finale 2014, I've experienced a problem in which an unwanted metronome click occurs during MIDI playback, usually not even in the key of the piece (very distracting!). However, I've tried turning it off in the Click and Countoff settings by setting both options to never, to no avail. Any advice?
Thanks!
How to turn off metronome click during playback?

Since you can not get rid of the metronome click via Click and Countoff, I suspect that the click is somehow included in the document’s MIDI data.
An idea:
make a duplicate copy of the document.
Open the duplicate, and clear the MIDI data:
Edit menu > Clear Selected Items…
Click “None”, and select MIDI data.
If that does not help, try using the ScoreManager’s Instrument List to Mute or Solo individual staves or layers.
You might be able to pinpoint the culprit staff/layer.
