Hi, I´m using Finale 2011/14. I have(probably) simply question. In finale exist possibility "Copies MIDI data" eg from one staff to other staf. And my question: Is there some possibility to "Copies MIDI data" from external sources? If is possible, so what format I have to use and how I can import these MiDI data (velocities, continuous data, pitch wheel etc) to FINALE? Thank you very much, have nice day, PertH

You can copy only MIDI Data from one staff to another staff, via the Copy Filter (Edit menu > Edit Filter).
You can even use the Copy Filter to copy only MIDI Data from a staff in one Finale document to a staff in another Finale document.
There is no direct way to import MIDI Data into a Finale document.
However there is an in-direct way:
Finale can open a Standard MIDI File (File menu > Open…).
When opening a Standard MIDI File, Finale creates a new, untitled document, and imports the MIDI File into this new document.
From there you can copy the MIDI Data to other Finale documents.
