Tempo issue

I have a score that plays back very slowly, and adjusting the tempo in the playback controls doesn't do anything. No matter what tempo I set, the score plays back at the same speed. I guess there is something overriding the tempo setting, but I have no idea what.

Catatonically?
Try 1) Select all 2) Edit menu/Clear selected Items 3) Click None, then MIDI data 4) OK. If that doesn't do it, then you have a tempo mark that defines the tempo.

Thanks Motet, excellent pun by the way! Your suggestion did not work, so tempo mark eh? Where would I find such a mark?

Your tempo marking of 138 had a playback tempo set to 40. Fix that.
