When I write the inferior C# I can see that note with yellow colour and the playback has no sound on this note. I mean the C# one 8ve under the central C
Finale interprets that C# as not playable, as the inferior limit for it is D.
Could I let Finale play that note?
Appreciate your help

Garritan Instruments for Finale only includes a clarinet in Bb, meaning that if you require an A clarinet you're out of luck for that low note.
User of Finale since version 3.0 on Windows.
Now using a mix of Finale 2012, Finale 25, and 26.1

If one really needs the note, the responsible Garritan file can be edited to add that note. Or, change to another clarinet sample that has that note.

Thank you all,
Finally I decided to use Bass Clarinet and it's ok
Otherwise, no Clarinet playbacks low C.
Strange to me, because when I go to
Score manager/ Instrument list
and I write Clarinet in A, no note is in yellow, and all of them should be playable.

as I said above, there is no sample of an A clarinet. it's an option in the instruments, but there is none in the actual library.jose oscar wrote:Thank you all,

what Finale can notate and what Finale can play back is two different things.

"Otherwise, no Clarinet playbacks low C."
I don't know what that means.
Of course no Clarinet has Low C, only Bass Clarinet,(and Basset Clarinet.)
Finale 25 has that Low C for Bass Clar and low E for A Clar.
Earlier versions of Finale did Not have those notes available for Playback.
F25 does.
I'm so happy to have them!
