Even after reading the manual I have no a clear idea between: Violin ks and Violin arco.

When I orchestrate (or compose) a piece with Strings that move from time to time from arco to pizzicato, which of the 2 alternatives is better?

The ks samples allow any key switching that that sample might have built in. If you want to go from Arco to Pizz and back, use that.
