I am considering purchasing GPO 5 and wonder if I could get some of your opinions and advice on this.

Is it worth it? (I don't think it's very expensive.)
Does it sound better than GIFF?
DOES IT CRASH A LOT?
Are the volume levels more realistic than GIFF or is the harp still too loud and the percussion too soft (etc.)?

Does it provide regular and harmonic mute sounds on brasses?
Any other extended techniques?

Thanks for any feedback!

GPO or GIfF has nothing to do with crashing or not crashing.

GPO has more choices of instruments.
GPO also has 1st and 2nd violins, with a subtly different sound, which is really nice.
User of Finale since version 3.0 on Windows.
Now using a mix of Finale 2012, Finale 25, and 26.1
GPO, Garritan Solo Stradivari violin, Gofriller Solo Cello.
XSamples Chamber Ensemble.
Absolute convert to NotePerformer3.
