Playback differences between 2014.5 and 25

Windows 7, 2014.5 and 25.3
Any ideas why the strings in this document play back fine in 2014.5, but play pizz. without being told do so in 25?

I opened the file in v25 and the strings play arco.

Still doesn't for me. Pizzicato, even if I insert an unecessary "arco" indication

I'm using 25.3 and it appears you are using 25.2. Maybe that makes a difference.

I opened it on my Mac. It wants to load AUs (Finale for Mac doesn't load VSTs) but neither player nor instruments are specified. Playing through GM, strings play Arco.
No idea what libraries you are trying to access. Perhaps the one you specified is pizz only. Try selecting a different sound bank and see if that's the real problem.
