If I assign Horn solo to 2 Horns through
ARIA PLAYER/Finale Default Bank
when I Playback I only listen to 1 Horn.
Horn 1 is on Layer 1. Horn 2 is on Layer 2
Which is the way to listen to both Horns, please?
I appreciate your help

I am able to get this to work, so maybe we need to examine your file to see what might need to change to get the proper result.

In your file, both horns on the top staff are on the same channel. The solo sample only allows 1 note at a time on the same channel. Put Layer 2 on a different channel (I chose 6 as 1-5 were taken) and it will work.

Thank you, zuill, but I'm afraid I am not adding channel 6 in the right way.
Could you send me your file, please?

Your redone file won't work, because you created a new Staff. The change needs to be made in the top staff. Click the arrow to the left of the Staff name and get the drop-down list showing all the layers. Change Layer to to Channel 6. Then go to the Aria Player and load the Horn Solo into Channel 6.
I've attached your original file, revised with this change to show what can be done.

I found your post. I'm trying to put a piano and violin on the same staff, playing the same notes. I'm using 2 different layers and 2 different channels. Layer 1 has violin on channel 15 and layer 2 has piano on channel 1. The only way I can get both instruments to play is if they have different notes. I'm using VST and I set up Aria correctly. I only hear the violin playing layer 1. The piano only plays if it has a note that is different than the violin.zuill wrote: ↑Tue Jul 04, 2017 5:02 pmYour redone file won't work, because you created a new Staff.
