I'm using Trial Version of V25 with Windows 10 on ASUS Laptop
I looked but couldn't find an answer to this issue.
Using a 1 line staff for percussion, the Bass Drum doesn't playback. The rest of the score does.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

We're probably going to need to look at your file, as there are so many variables, and Bass Drum works fine for us (at least for me).

Thanks or the reply, but What file? You mean the score?

That's what I meant. If you don't want to share the music, delete all the notes but what you entered for the Bass Drum. Save that redacted version of the score as a separate file and attach it here.

Hope this works. Also, the glissando in tbones measure 9-10 isn't working

I can enter notes for Bass drum and Kick Drum on all 3 of the Percussion staves, and they all play back. Also, I get the glissando working in the Trombone part. I can't say why these things aren't working for you. Maybe it's a limitation of the Demo.

PS The Bass Drum is a quiet roll for 5 measures, I left off the "tremolo" marks.

I don't see any Bass Drum notes anywhere in the score. Maybe you sent the wrong file.

Thanks, it would be useful to know what you did to get them working. If you did nothing "extra" then it's on my end.
The Bass DRum is on the first Percussion staff (single line) 5 whole notes in 5 measures, 12-16. It doesn't say Bass Drum cuz the words disappear with every entry.

No whole notes in Percussion 1. Maybe you should set it up the way you want for our testing, then resend the file.

Plays back like a cricket for me.

I'd prefer it played back like a Bass Drum.

I increased the dynamic to ffff so I could hear it better. I get one "thump" on the first beat of the first measure and that's it. I tried tremolo marking, Tr~ marking nothing works. I'll ask Finale if it's cuz I'm in a demo.

If you are playing with Human Playback, it works. If you are using Spacebar-Click, that is bypassing Human Playback, so the trills won't play.

Since this is a demo, you don't have access to the Garritan sounds. Those would sound better. But even there, a Kick Drum (Drum Set Bass Drum) is a thud. When it rolls, it's just a series of thuds. The Orchestral Bass Drum sounds much better with a roll. And the Garritan sounds even have a sampled roll, which is the best kind of roll. It doesn't sound like a machine gun.
