I'm getting the attached message--when Bank 2 is not full. Granted, I've been messing with Aria instances, changing instruments among Garritan libraries, but I've cleared two channels in Bank 2, and Finale is still telling me the bank is full when I tray to add an instrument to one of the channels. Sure, I could go to a different bank. But does anyone have an idea why Finale tells me that Bank 2 is full when it isn't?

It's hard to say without seeing the file. Can you provide a screen shot of the bank?

Euphonium is assigned to channel 6, bank 2, but the score manager here shows a different assignment because I went ahead and assigned a euphonium to channel 1 of bank 3 as a workaround. But previously, when I try to change the score manager assignment to bank 2 channel 6, I get the "bank is full" window.

You need to physically remove the instrument from the slot in Bank 2, regardless to the assignment in the Score Manager, as far as I recall.

Yes, I've been emptying channel 6 in bank 2, but filling it either from the score manager initially or reloading a euphonium instrument still produces the "bank 2 is full" window.

Test file is attached. Try to change the euphonium staff to bank 2, slot 6. (It's currently bank 3, slot 1 as my workaround).

All 16 channels are used for Bank 2. That's the reason for the error. Clear one of the channels and it should work. The reason you didn't know they were all used is because some of the percussion instruments are using multiple channels for multiple layers. Use the drop-down lists for the last 3 instruments and you'll see all the other channels used in Bank 2, including channel 6.

That was it, Zuill. Thanks.
