can someone tell me how to reduce the velocity of sforzato etc. done by human playback?

In the Playback Controls there is a pop up menu for Human Playback® Style (you must expand the Playback Controls window to get to the pop up menu).

At the bottom of the pop up menu you can set the Human Playback® Style to “Custom…”.
Have you tried that?
